Coloring Book

The crowdfunding campaign for this book was successful.

A girl, whom I drew many times, before we met personally, called me to have a first telephone contact and, among many other things we talked about, she gave me the idea of making a coloring book. At first I liked the idea, although I had doubts because it seemed to me to trivialize my art. I thought about it for a while and came to the conclusion that, instead of trivializing it, it was about sharing it and giving the possibility to participate in it. Besides, the drawings I want to show in this book are mostly pencil sketches (that I don’t usually exhibit) and exercises to practice.

It is a different project from the others I have completed. This book will not have the solemnity of the others and I would like that, instead of keeping it only to contemplate it, you use it to paint and give your vision of my works, to finish them in your own way. 

Each pencil drawing, out of a total of 30, will come with the usual information and a small text to give it a mood that, I hope, will help you to choose the tone of the colors.
