I met Ayla at a life drawing session and invited her to my region to take photos in a nature park—an experience that later became the inspiration for my book Empordà Nu. We also took the opportunity to do a rather interesting photo shoot at my house, which allowed me to sketch her several times.
The way she poses combines a certain shyness and innocence with an incredible sensuality that she isn’t fully aware of.

These drawings are from several years ago, and I don’t feel they’re entirely my own, but I was able to create them and grow as an artist. I hope to create more using the photos from the next session—or even from this one.
